About D.A.D

Building an institution, not a company.

D.A.D was founded on a single observation: the Nigerian real estate process produces poor outcomes not because of bad intentions, but because no discipline is solely responsible for the capital decision itself. This is the story of how that observation became an institution.

Our Story

Why D.A.D exists today.

Different Architecture and Development.

D.A.D. was founded in 2018 from a simple conviction: the built environment could serve people better.

We began by exploring new ways of designing, developing and inhabiting space, working across architecture, interiors, property and development. Our early work was driven by a changing generation, new ways of working and the need for spaces that were more adaptable to real life.

Over time, the work revealed something more important.

The success of a project is often determined before the first drawing is made.

The right property can still be the wrong investment. A well-designed space can still perform poorly. A successfully delivered project can still fail to achieve what it was meant to achieve.

So D.A.D. moved upstream.

Today, we work around the decisions that shape projects: what to acquire, what to build, what to change, what to preserve, what to invest, and what it will take to deliver the intended outcome.

Our work remains rooted in the built environment, but our perspective is broader.

We believe better spaces begin with better decisions.

That is the idea D.A.D. was built on.
And it remains the reason we exist.

Our Purpose

What we believe.

Buildings preserve the consequences of decisions.

Construction doesn't correct a poor decision. It makes it permanent.

Capital deserves independent thinking.

Our loyalty is to decision quality, not project momentum.

Better decisions create better outcomes.

We measure success by decisions improved, not simply projects delivered.

The built environment is a business asset first.

Before it is a physical asset, it exists to serve a business objective.

If it were our own capital.

Every recommendation is held to that one test. If the answer is no, we don't make it.

Independence, always.

No construction margin or design fee rides on the recommendation.

Tesiro Okome
Founder, D.A.D PDC

Tesiro Okome is a built-environment professional, entrepreneur and project leader whose work is centred on making better decisions about capital, property and projects.

Trained as an architect, his experience has expanded across design, project delivery, business and strategic decision-making. This has shaped a particular interest in the decisions that determine whether an investment ultimately creates value.

His approach is grounded in a simple principle:

The quality of what we build is often determined by the quality of the decisions made before we build it.

Today, Tesiro works across the built environment, developing ideas and ventures around how organisations can make better use of their capital, their spaces and the opportunities in front of them.
